More and more road users and local residents are worried about speed bumps! Car accidents, back pain, vibrations in the house, increased pollution... the list of complaints is getting longer! And yet, they are flourishing in France: there were no less than 400,000 of them last year. Problem: 1/3 of them are illegal! Too high, too wide, placed on public transport routes, close to emergency services... and therefore contrary to the regulations. In any case, this is what an association that tracks down "illegal" speed bumps and takes the offending municipalities to court says.
